My flight arrives early in the morning:
To guarantee an early check-in, it is necessary to book the previous night. If rooms are available prior to check-in time, an early check-in may be possible.
My flight leaves late:
Should you wish to retain your room after checkout time please advise Reception who may apply the following charges: upto 6.00pm - 50% of the room charge. After 6.00pm - the full room charge will apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY
On-line reservations may be cancelled/amended free of charge up to 24 hours prior to 11.00 a.m. on the day of arrival. Otherwise the first night will be charged. Please send an email to

HOTEL NAME, RESERVATION NUMBER, NAME OF GUEST & DATE OF STAY.
LUGGAGE ROOM
A luggage room is available at the Concierge desk. It is free of charge on the day of arrival before check in and £0.50 per suitcase on the day of checkout. Overnight storage or longer, is £0.65 per suitcase per day.

I am landing at HEATHROW Airport
The easiest way to get to Russell Square from Heathrow Airport is by London Underground. The Piccadilly Line will take you directly to Russell Square.

I am landing at STANSTED Airport
The easiest way to get to Russell Square from Stansted Airport is by train. The Stansted Express can be taken to Liverpool Street Station. At Liverpool Street Station take the underground to Holborn (Central Line) At Holborn change to the Piccadilly Line for Russell Square.

I am landing at GATWICK Airport
The easiest way to get to Russell Square from Gatwick Airport is by train. The Gatwick Express can be taken to Victoria Station. Trains run every 15 minutes from 05:20 to 00:50 and hourly overnight. Journey time is 30 minutes. At Victoria Station take the Underground to Green Park (Victoria Line) At Green Park change to the Piccadilly Line for Russell Square.

I am landing at LUTON Airport
The easiest way to get to Russell Square from Luton Airport is by train. Take the (free) Luton Airport Shuttle Bus from outside the Terminal at Bay 1 to Luton Airport Parkway Station. At the station catch a First Capital Connect train southbound to St Pancras International Station. At St Pancras International Station follow the signs for the Piccadilly Line from King's Cross Underground to Russell Square.

I am landing at CITY Airport
The easiest way to get to Russell Square from London City Airport is to take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank. From Bank take the Central Line to Holborn Underground Station. At Holborn change to the Piccadilly Line Russell Square.

TRANSPORT
How do I travel around London?
The best way to see the Capital is to purchase an Oyster Card. Oyster is a 'smartcard' which can store pay as you go credit. It can be used on the underground, buses, DLR, trams and some national rail services in London. CONGESTION CHARGE
Please note all the hotels are within the Congestion Charging Zone. The Congestion Charging operating hours are 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays). You can pay the Congestion Charge directly in the Imperial and Royal National Car Parks, online (see below), or in the Newsagent in the Imperial Hotel.

BEDROOM FACILITIES
Bathrooms
All rooms are en suite except for the County Hotel which has one bathroom to every four bedrooms and a wash hand basin in every bedroom. The bathrooms have bath with shower attached. Some rooms at the President and Tavistock Hotels have shower only.
Disabled rooms
Disabled rooms are available. Please contact the hotels directly for further details.
Tea and Coffee Making Facilities
Kettle, cup and saucer and sachets of Tea, Coffee, Milk and Sugar are available in each room.
Shampoo and Shower Gel
In the Imperial President and Bedford these are provided in the rooms. These may be requested from the Housekeeping Department in the other hotels.
Hairdryers
Some rooms are equipped with a Hairdryer. Alternately they can be borrowed from the Housekeeping Department for a small refundable deposit.
Adaptors
Adaptors are available, on request, from the housekeeping department for a small refundable deposit.
Ironing Rooms
An ironing room is available in the all Hotels except for the County Hotel, where an iron and ironing board can be borrowed from the Porter's Desk.
Fridges
A fridge can be made available on special request. (Please note that priority given to the storage of medication.)
Rollaway Beds
Rollaways are available for £20 per night. Max: 1 per standard room.
HOTEL FACILITIES
Internet
Except for the County Hotel Wireless Internet is available in all our hotel lobbies, free of charge.
The Imperial and Bedford have some rooms with free of charge internet access. Subject to availability these rooms can be made available on check-in.
Breakfast
Full English Breakfast is included in the rate for all the Hotels except for the Royal National which includes Continental Breakfast.
Breakfast is served between 7.00 am to 10.00 am Monday to Saturday and 7.30am to 10.30 am on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Room Service
Room service is available for breakfast, lunch and evening meals in the Imperial, President, Bedford and Tavistock Hotels. Room service is available at the Royal National Hotel for lunch and evening meals only.
Laundry
The Housekeeping Department in each hotel can arrange for Laundry and Dry Cleaning Monday - Friday except at the County Hotel which can be arranged through the Porter's Desk.
Safety Deposit Boxes
Please contact the Reception or Porter's Desk for information relating to Safety Deposit Boxes within the hotel.
Business Centre
Adjacent to the Royal National Hotel is Rex Lounge which guests can use for emailing, faxing and DHL services. (Payable locally)
PETS
Pets are not permitted in the hotel. We do, however, allow certified service animals who assist disabled guests.
SMOKING POLICY
Our hotels operate a No-Smoking Policy. Smoking is not permitted in any bedroom or public area.
HEALTH CLUB
What are the opening hours and cost of the health club?
Cost for the use of the health club is £10.00 for adults and £6.00 for children.

1 Cot (suitable from birth to 15 kgs approx or until child can stand up) can be booked online where infant is sharing parent's Double or Twin room.
It is also possible to arrange an extra bed (rollaway) for children. This is subject to availability and there would also be an extra charge.
