    Do you have proven experience working as a Credit control & Sales ledger?

    Imperial London Hotels Ltd. is an independent family-run business with a unique portfolio of seven hotels. We are looking for an enthusiastic credit control & Sales ledger to join our Accounts team in the Bloomsbury, London.     Who are we looking for?

    This role would suit a motivated and friendly individual who is looking to start their career in Accounting. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably working within an international accounts function, is essential, in addition to:

    • Some accounting knowledge
    • Qualification in English and Mathematics at GCSE Grade C or higher (or equivalent)
    • Competent use of computers - Excel (advanced level), Word (intermediate level), Outlook/Explorer (competent user)
    • Experience using Microsoft Nav - Desirable

    What will I be responsible for?

    Joining the Accounts team, the day-to-day duties of this role will include line-managing a team of three, in addition to:

    • Post city ledger receipts & allocate cash received from customers
    • Raising Wine and other Invoices
    • Credit Control for all customers
    • Sending statements out to customers
    • Ensuring customer accounts are up to date and accurate
    • Dealing with customer queries
    • Agent Commissions
    • Filing and all other ad hoc duties within the department

    Other duties:

    Undertake other ad hoc duties in support of the Accounts department and/or the wider Imperial London Hotels group as and when required.
