The smallest of the Imperial Hotel group, the Morton offers guests the option of our classic twin or double Bloomsbury Bedrooms, the top floor Omega Suite with kitchen and dining area or our Charleston Apartments. Our apartments are ideal for couples, families and longer stays, with the flexibility of having one or two interconnecting bedrooms, as well as the sofa beds.
Each of our 34 rooms has been lovingly furnished with individual charm and themed around one of Bloomsbury Group’s most key members including Virginia Woolf and Roger Fry. With bespoke wallpapers and artwork based on the prints and textiles of the era, our charming boutique hotel offers a taste of English heritage just moments from Russell Square Underground station.
Our rooms reflect the perfect balance of old and new, with a freshly inspired take on the classic Charleston decorative style & spirit, whilst incorporating all the modern luxuries one would expect whilst staying in a boutique hotel.
This theme has been carried across various details and furnishings throughout the hotel, from quirky silhouetted cushions on the beds to paintings and artwork in the hallways portraying the lives and work of the Bloomsbury Group. The innovative lighting in the entrance hall also features various well-known literatures written from some of the group’s members.
