So, just pack their lead and their favourite squeaky toys, as you and your beloved canine or feline will feel right at home.

You'll find an abundance of dog friendly attractions and our neighbourhood of Bloomsbury is filled with spacious parks and pedestrian-only walking zones. Furry walkers and their people are most welcome in Russell Square Garden, our closest park, making our Bloomsbury properties the perfect Central London location for you & your four legged companions. Another reason to treat your pup to a relaxing break in the blooming leafy green centre of the city!
To help make our dog-friendly London accommodation a welcoming experience for everyone, we kindly ask guests to read through and sign a letter of acceptance upon check in, agreeing to our pet-guest policies noted below.
 
We look forward to welcoming animal-lovers to both our boutique Morton Hotel or to botanical Bedford Hotel, with its private garden terrace, for a fun filled break in Bloomsbury, right by Russell Square, Central London's second largest and pet-friendly garden square.
  • Pets are restricted to dogs and cats only and must be small to medium size under 50lbs or 22 kilos, unless the prior written consent of management is received. 
  • 1 pet maximum per room. 
  • A cleaning fee of £50 (per stay or every 10 days) will be applied to cover the supplementary cost of cleaning following checkout. This charge does not apply to guide dogs. 
  • Guests staying longer than 10 days will be required to have their room/suite deep cleaned once every 10 days. 
  • Pets must be in a crate while housekeeping or other hotel employees are in the room. Alternately, guests can contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for daily service while the pet is absent. 
  • Pets should be leashed while on hotel property other than when in the guestroom or suite. 
  • Pet must comply with local legislation requirements. 
  • Pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets areas within the hotel. This policy does not apply to guide dogs. 
  • Guests must always clean up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighbourhood. Failure to comply could result in fines as per local by-laws. 
  • Barking must be controlled by the owner so as to not inconvenience other guests. 
  • Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet. 
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet. 
  • The hotel reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages. 
No person owning, possessing or harbouring a dog shall permit the dog to run at large or allow the dog to be on any street or in any public place unless it is under the full custody and control of a competent person by means of a leash not exceeding 2.5 meters in length. The is also owner is responsible for removing any excrement deposited by the dog and depositing same in a suitable refuse container.
